Beautiful Food: Italian Sirloin with Pasta and Pesto 


It looks like you slaved all day right?

Wrong! 3 Easy Steps.

1) Rub down a piece of sirloin with olive oil. Crumble some basil, salt, garlic powder and thyme together in your hands, about a teaspoon total. Rub it all over the meat and roast in a shallow pan for 15 minutes at 375 degrees, then 15 minutes at 350. Take it out, put it on a plate and let it rest for 5 minutes.

2) Wash and take the guts out of a handful of baby peppers. Put in a shallow roasting pan a cover and mix with olive oil, just enough to coat all of the peppers. Roast in oven with meat until they a golden brown on their outer skin.

3) Cook some pasta or spaghetti. After you drain it well mix in the pesto. Serve it up sprinkled win a little Parmesan cheese.

Serve it up with a little fresh Italian bread.
